Sports Massage and Remedial Therapist

"Sports massage is for both sports people and anyone wishing to prevent or recover from a soft tissue injury. I work hard to understand my clients’ goals and expectations and deliver a very individual & focussed treatment."

Mary is a keen runner, swimmer and triathlete and has experienced first hand many of the benefits sports massage can bring to endurance athletes: improved recovery from activity and injury, injury prevention, pain reduction and greater mobility/range of motion. Her belief in the power of sports massage led her to train as a therapist with the North London School of Sports Massage.

Mary has treated a wide variety of clients including athletes for whom regular sports massage forms part of their training plan and individuals with soft tissue issues arising from sport, posture, work/desk setup, surgery and accidents. She uses a range of soft tissue therapy techniques and communicates clearly how, and to what extent, soft tissue therapy could form part of achieving her clients’ goals and delivers very client focussed treatments, including an assessment of soft tissue condition.

Mary has a Professional Diploma in Sports Massage and Remedial Soft Tissue Therapy and is a member of the SMA (The Association for Soft Tissue Therapists).
